You will, I'm sure, be pleased to know that I spent pretty much all day thinking about this.

Or course, you'd also need to cast Dr. Teeth as Pirelli, and Scooter as Toby.

(Am I having a brain fart-- who's Fredrick? Am I confusing him with Antony, who seems the logical choice for Kermit?)

In other Muppet news, Season 1 of The Muppet Show came out on DVD yesterday. *So* good.

Nah, it was A. having the mental lapse. Antony, we mean. Joanna, however, is still a bit of a problem, though I _guess_ Janice could work.

Have you imagined the possibilities of "Pretty Finch and Big Bird?"

And yeah, I'm in total agreement about Sam the Eagle.

Yeah, the Joanna thing is a problem. I might propose, just in a discussion sense, the following:

Since Piggy is, traditionally, cast as Kermit's love interest, rather than necessarily the biggest female role, perhaps Piggy makes sense as Joanna.

Leaving, as Mrs. Lovett... Rizzo in drag.

Works well with Gonzo Todd. Of course, Mrs. Lovett is *such* a perfect part for Piggy...

Y'know, the way things are going, they'd probably cast a human guest star as Joanna. Brittany Spears, most likely. >sigh
