orichalcum at 01:12pm on 12/09/2005Happy (belated) anniversary, Fajitas and Pseudosilence! Thank you for contributing to making us like Chicago and be excited about moving here. Your wedding was one of the most fun I've ever attended.
Spamalot is totally awesome and worth seeing, especially currently in NYC, when you get not only Tim Curry's King Arthur and David Hyde Pierce (Niles of Frasier)'s Sir Robin, but _Alan Tudyk's_ (Wash of Firefly) singing and dancing Sir Lancelot, at one point clad only in "chain mail" tights and a small, strategically placed shield. Also, for the sight of Little Bunny Fu-Fu as performed by a French mime. And the voice on Sara Ramirez, Lady of the Lake, is extraordinary.
Still no furniture, no kitchen supplies except for 2 plates, glasses, and utensils via the generosity of the Ubiquiti, no Internet, no phone, no cable, no computer yet in office.
But we have each other, and more excitingly (cuz well, we've had each other for a while now), we have reserved a puppy! She's five weeks old now, and at Indian Knoll Kennels, the second oldest golden retriever breeders in the U.S. We paid somewhat more than at the other places, cuz this kennel promises 5 generations of certified lack of hip, eye, thyroid, and seizure problems, and we really want a healthy dog. Pictures will be forthcoming; we pick her up on the 24th.
