Hey folks,

I've finally succumbed and gotten a LiveJournal. It will mostly just mirror my .plan, so that friends who can't see that can see the random things floating across the surface of my brain.

In the meantime, I offer a brief explanation of Orichalcum. Orichalcum was the Roman name for the alchemical material which was supposed to comprise the Philosopher's Stone. It's either a mixture of mercury, gold, silver, and copper or of all the elements plus wood. It seemed like an appropriate usename for a mongrel like me and invokes several of my primary interests. It's also the name I use to write the Story Hour of my campaign: http://www.enworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=49805, which is where a lot of my creative energy is going currently.

Anyways, more coming soon, but don't expect glamour and hoopla.

Scarily enough, this is the 7th year that I have been keeping a .plan and .project file on Unix and saved each entry. This is also the 7th year that I present, at this time, the best of the year's entries. It's a way to reflect on the ups and downs of the year, and usually to laugh a lot.
