Days Spent Skiing: 3
Free refills of hot chocolate and chai lattes: 2
Falls: 0
Sore Muscles: Many.
Bubble Baths: 2
Fuzzy terry-cloth hotel bathrobes worn: 2.
Songs Heard by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir: 5
Caffeine-free Barq's Root Beer: A sip of one. (Think about it. It'll come to you.)
Hours spent sleeping in the last 24: About 4.
Favorite resort: Alta.
New skiier classification: Blue, although cautiously.
Most distressing realization: I don't want to be at the resort with all the cool hip young people. I want to be at the resort with the young families and the people over 30.
Most ridiculous overpriced charge: $6 lockers at Snowbird.
Silliest moment: AHM's rant about how annoying it was that his ski pants didn't have pockets, and how troublesome this was, two days in a row, until he discovered, on the third day, that his pants _did_ have pockets.
It was pretty great for the last weekend completely alone with my spouse for the next ten weeks. Now back to the grindstone - I have a game to run this weekend! And a lecture on the 12 Tables to write! And an abstract to send! And all of Western Philosophy to read! That's just the next week, too. :)
