Current temperature outside: 46 degrees.

This morning, after finishing his breakfast and announcing, "All done! I play!", Mac was left alone in his room briefly. Having previously unscrewed the wall bracket covering the hole for the cables, he proceeded to thread the plastic tubing from my breast pump inside the wall.

At least he's consistent in his mad engineering skillz.

Grandad and Grandma are both proud and worried about his fearlessness, which they chose to test by letting him run away from the playground for several hundred feet, following about 20 feet behind him. (It was in a park, he was relatively safe, but I still wouldn't have done it myself.) The results were interesting and to me predictable - he didn't look behind him once. Just kept on walking and exploring.

How do I set limits for a kid who believes he's capable of doing anything and that all people, dogs, and goats like him? So much of the time I feel like the Bad Cop.
