Brief BPAL reviews
So, I've succumbed to the lure of the Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab and bought samples of a bunch of their scents.
Gluttony: BPAL description: Thick, sugared and bloated with sweetness. Dark chocolate, vanilla, buttercream, and hops with pralines, hazelnut, toffee and caramel.

My reaction: It smells like a New England fudge shop. Very, very sweet, almost cloyingly so after time. Definitely got a bit of the toffee, not much of the chocolate. A bit too sweet for me for everyday.
A's reaction: smells like honey. :)
Mac's reaction: grab my wrist and hold it in front of his face.
Snake Oil:
BPAL Description: By far, our most popular scent! Magnetic, mysterious, and exceedingly sexual in nature. A blend of exotic Indonesian oils sugared with vanilla.
My reaction: Very incensey. Spicy and complicated, but not very me.
A's reaction: Smells like perfume, better than most but he doesn't like perfume.
Mac's reaction: Indifference.
