Well, that was satisfying - only 3 places I haven't been I actually really want to go...Oh, and hca, I had no problems in Egypt, even traveling as a single woman. (There was a brief moment where I wondered if the guy I was on the camel with was going to run away with me, but he just wanted to show me a newly excavated tomb.) I mean, go in the winter, definitely, and watch what you eat, but Egypt is absolutely fascinating. Still, Petra in Jordan kicks the Pyramids' metaphorical asses.
