apintrix, I've finished Roman Civ (though still have one class left to go), so here's a brief

Pinot Noir, though I'm actually a Merlot fan.
2) When did you first invest in a retirement plan?
Two years ago.
3) What political party are you registered under?
Democratic.
4) Do you rent or own?
Rent.
5) If you were getting married tomorrow, where would you be registered?
We did Williams Sonoma, Crate and Barrel, and Macy's, and have few regrets; I'd do a lot more on Amazon this time.

I'm a Doctor Master Master. :)
7) Stocks or mutual funds?
Mutual Funds.
8) College teams or pros?
Pros, except for Yale/Harvard.
9) At whose wedding were you first a bridesmaid/groomsman? Are they still together?

Post-high school whirlwind tour of France, Italy, and Austria.
18) Have you attended a friend's funeral?
Thankfully, not a peer's funeral, no, although many in the older generation.
19) Where were you when the Challenger exploded? When the Berlin Wall came down? When Operation Desert Storm started? on 9/11/01?
Challenger -- Here, on the drive to school, past the palm trees that were secretly crocodiles masquerading so they could eat children, while my dad tried to conduct Socratic dialogues with me. When we got to school it had happened and we spent the whole day watching the tape over and over again.
In high school, my English teacher had been one of the finalists, and told us the story of getting back from the launch, where she had been invited, to discover a letter in her mailbox from her friend Christa McAuliffe, talking about her excitement.
Berlin Wall: On a family vacation in rural Canada.
Operation Desert Storm: At home, watching television, and crying.
NYC: 116th St and Broadway, in a lecture on Roman demography. I saw the first plane pass over me as I walked to class, and heard the second one in lecture. Afterwards, I walked downtown while the masses streamed past me, carrying their high heels.

Distanced from others' grief.
21) How many of your exes have since gotten married?
Depends on counting I guess - one?
22) How many of your exes have since come out of the closet?
None that I know of.

Darn slowing metabolism.

I'm more tolerant of gun fans; I'm much more aware of the importance of gay rights.
