Indeedy...yeah, my brother and I realized at an early age that we could get out of trouble if we enlisted one parent on our side, because then they would argue with each other while we sneaked off. This was not good for overall family dynamics, but very effective short-term strategy.
No wonder you like being a Big Brother, after being the youngest kid for so long. :)
