On Time Magazine'sdecision to disclose the source in the Plame case:
"The decision by a major news organization to disclose the identities of its confidential sources appears to be without precedent in living memory."
The Times, meanwhile, is eagerly anticipating the chance for heroic journalistic martyrdom.
It's an interesting issue, and one where I don't have a whole lot of stake. I mean, the person who's being protected here is guilty of treason against the U.S. government, not to mention nasty vengeance tactics. OTOH, protections for the press are important.
