Bad: Having my Flexcar fail to work correctly after puppy training, resulting in 2 and a half hours spent sitting outside the pet store with Eowyn, while both of us got hungrier and hungrier (from 7 PM - 9:30 PM)

Good: Meeting, during the long wait, a 5-month old Irish setter named Ginny Weasley. :) _Her_ owner got Eowyn's name.


Bad: It being my mom's birthday, and the fifth year I couldn't call her on it. Not in a way where she talked back, at least.

Good: Carol calling to keep her promise to my mom - to tell me and my brother every year on my mom's birthday how much my mom loved us.

The lesson of today is that bad things happen, but there are lots of good and wonderful people in the world, I guess.
