Check it out! A close old family friend, Richard Ledes, who lived with us when I was little and took me to see Baryshnikov perform the Nutcracker in NYC when I was 6, has his first film going up at the Tribeca Film Festival, about a woman who wants to get a voluntary lobotomy. Sadly, the movie is this Sunday, and while it will be Aurora? Axel-Weiner's first movie, I suspect I'll miss it due to a combination of exhaustion and A. being uninterested in a film about a lobotomy. But I encourage everyone else too.
