It turns out that at least the named university professor/escort in the D.C. Madam case committed suicide in January. She was not working as a professor and prostitute at the same time, as well; she lost her job as a sociology professor at U. Maryland, Baltimore, over conflicts with the dept and allegations of data falsification. During her subsequent unemployment, she then worked as an escort. It mostly sounds like a sad case of someone who was really messed up.
And, well, no chance of interviewing her. The other named escort is a legal secretary with Akin Gump, but I don't think that's as catchy.
