Apparently, Summer Glau has a lead role in the Fox potential new series for the fall, _The Sarah Connor Chronicles_, as "an enigmatic and otherworldly student at his high school, who soon proves to be much more than his confidante as she assumes the role of Sarah and John's fearless protector."

The poor girl. She gets so typecasted. Same thing in the 4400, too. Yes, the SC Chronicles is about what you think it's about.

In other random television news, apparently Mookie and Michelle from Survivor:Fiji are now dating. Dude. She could do So Much Better.

Also, Mac's new trick of the day is trying to hit as many of his different music-making toys at once with his drumstick, to get multiple different melodies going. This is...cacophonous. He does not yet have what we might call taste.

Once or twice, I've said, "Come to Mommy," and he's crawled right up, and I've been very excited. However, if Eowyn is in the room, she'll immediately run over before him and demand to be petted and basically totally play the showoff older sibling. Then she'll chase him around the room for a while and herd him, not that he realizes what she's doing. Mac also crawled around the floor, picking up all the pieces of shiny bottle wrapper that Eowyn has torn off and scattered, and then placed them in a heap back on top of the original bottle. In general, he's showing a strong interest in sorting things and finding toys and objects that go together.

Now he's spanking himself with his drumstick.
