Most bizarre political news of the day.

1. Mitt Romney, in an attempt to humanize his image, told the press corps on his plane today "These aren't the droids you're looking for."

2. Hillary Clinton, successfully humanizing her image and reminding us of her good sense of humor, comments on her worst dressed outfits of the last 35 years.

3. Meanwhile, in answer to Clinton's loan to her campaign of $5 million from her own family's wealth, the Obama campaign has raised online in the last 24 hours (as of now) over $6 million dollars.

I'm just trying to figure out if there's any significance to the fact that there are two consecutive posts on my Friends page with nearly the same subject.

Oh no, I was actively responding to Julian, if that's what you mean. Technically, different days.

And re: 3, Clinton has also raised $4 million in the same period, so it's not as one-sided as it may appear. But it is true that Obama has been and continues to be significantly out-fundraising Clinton.

Yep, that news hadn't been released when I posted. Obama is also up to 7 million now.

You know, I have always loved that picture of Senator Clinton back in the 60s wearing those striped pants. So cutely dorky. But then again, I discovered it back when I had an old Gay Liberation Front poster on my wall that had people wearing similar pants....

Now you're confusing me with this name thing! I was like, "She wasn't a Senator in the 60s..."
