Your first two entries cracked me up! As for the checks, I don't suppose you have some old checks from a defunct account with which you can give him his own checkbook?

I think Eowyn's behavior is rather sweet, although I can see how it is unhelpful. At least it is by definition a temporary situation?

i think that just invites disaster, as I don't trust his judgment skills. glad to provide laughter, though!

Well, that's why I said defunct account and not just "extra checks." So he couldn't go giving real bank info away in some super clever Mac way. But yeah, potential for disaster is there.
