Hey, has anyone out there ever made or, for that matter, had, mina, which appears to be a sort of matzoh pie/sandwich with either a potato-cheese filling or a potato-meat filling? It sounds like a great Passover dish, but there are a wide variety of recipes, and I'd prefer to make one pre-approved.

--Ori, who makes her matzoh brei more like French toast than like scrambled eggs, but respects other traditions.

Oo. I've never heard of that, actually. I wonder if it's a Sephardic thing?

If you do manage to find a good recipe, I'd love to see/try it. I'm always looking for good Passover recipes...

I like a lot of Sephardic food and enjoy trying a very different set of cultural interpretations of Jewish foods. Besides, less starch-starch-starch all the time.
