Dog names

The leading candidates for names are Athena and Democrat - cuz it'll probably be a golden retriever. Get it?

Hmmm. That would also suggest names like 'Senator' or 'Governor' or even 'Congressman' 'Congresspuppy'? None of which I suggest you actually use.

It would also suggest that your dog will be all but extinct by the early 21st century, so I'd avoid that. Also, the original saying was a "mangy yellow dog" so.
