I just got a one-word email from my advisor, who I had sent, two days ago, the Introduction that I had spent sixteen continuous hours massively revising and changing (thank you, everyone!):
"Inprimatur."
Let it be printed.
And as the cherry on top of my sundae, I got email last night from Classical World, the journal I submitted to over a year ago as my "reach" journal with my article on cannibalism, saying that they were sending my article back to me with the referee's comments and strongly encouraging me to revise and resubmit it. This is not an acceptance, but it's way better than ignoring me or a rejection.
Now, to work on the conclusion.
24 24 hours to go....

Glorious. I mean, beyond the congratulations and all, but on top of that, that's a damn cool e-mail. I'd give money if I ever got that as a response from my agent. Of course, I'd've had to forward it to you to get it translated, but still...
Go team Ori! Go!

And not like anyone's spelled Latin consistently over the ages anyway.

sweet
and the revise-and-resubmit is usually really an acceptance-just-make-sure-to-make-these-changes, afaik.
