I have always had a ridiculous number of friends and relatives born this particular week. I guess, um, lots of great Halloween parties? Or something. With no further ado, happy birthday to mrmorse, havenstone, retsuko, Rae, and anyone else I'm forgetting! May your days be full of entertainment, amusement, and wild hijinks!

My beloved husband is far from home today, helping defend a whistleblower in a good (and actually billable!) fight. Mac keeps looking in different rooms for him this morning and trying to call him on the phone.

If you have a chance, send birthday greetings via LJ or email. Also, does anyone have a recipe for chocolate peanut butter pie/cake they'd like to share? I have a few that I've made for him before (and it has the advantage that it will keep whether he gets home tonight or tomorrow), but still haven't hit on the Perfect Pie.
