OK, so, as mentioned previously, this winter I'm teaching a 16-person freshman seminar based on the Barnard "Reacting to the Past" program, which puts students in a historical simulation of a specific moment in history where they are divided into different factions and get to debate policies, directions, etc.

For the first half of the course, I'm using a published module, basically, set in the Athenian Assembly of 403 BCE. But for the second half, I'm borrowing some bits from someone else's roughdraft, and the rest I'm making up on my own. As I'm about to write the syllabus, I thought I'd ask for advice/suggestions from the lot of you with game design experience.
