I do once again have Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo. My only unusual symptom is that most people have a "bad ear," which can be diagnosed by their inability to track well visually on that side. Right now, I can't track well in any direction when dizzy, so maybe I have it on both sides. I've got meds (which make me drowsy, yay) and exercises to do. About the only good side is that this may save me from Boston driving and make A. do it, as I'm not supposed to drive while still having symptoms, especially on curvy roads.
In other news, I was reading Sy Hersh's article about General Taguba and the Taguba Report in the New Yorker. One detail that hasn't made it into a lot of the blog commentary is that I can't help but think that Rumsfeld et al may have had less respect for Taguba because he's 5'6, 120 lbs, and speaks with a slight Filipino accent. Not their kind of macho.
Meanwhile, as long as I'm coherent, I'm going to deal with cars and boats and planes and other transportation logistics for the next weeks of travel and hosting.
