To lighten up the day.

When he was up on the slopes skiing the first day, julianyap saw some banana bread at a slopeside restaurant and remembered how much Mac loved "ba-bri." He bought it, and as soon as he got back to the apartment that day, he presented it triumphantly to Mac, "Look, it's banana bread!"

Mac looked at the banana bread, smelled it, and gave what redhound described as a very polite but fake wide smile. He took it, and ate a small bite. Then he looked at Julian again, walked into the kitchen, opened up the trash can, and carefully placed the entire slice of banana bread inside.

Poor julianyap!

We suspect that this "ba-bri" was simply much more sugary and less banana-y than what I make, so Mac didn't want it. But still!
