We suspect that this "ba-bri" was simply much more sugary and less banana-y than what I make, so Mac didn't want it.

So he rejected it because it was too sugary? You guys must be doing an excellent job of educating his palate early. Excellent.

I don't think it's that he's anti-sugar, he's just anti-bland. He likes food with strong tastes.
